Capacitive sensors are dedicated for reliable measures for liquids and bulk goods using the measurement of changes in electromagnetic capacitance. This product group is applied for severe working conditions (steam, bottoms or electrode deposits). Float level sensors monitor the level of liquid media due to permanent magnet of the floating and detecting level changes. They are available with connecting box, wire, DIN plug, and display. Besides all float level sensors can be integrated with Aluminum or polycarbonate case.
Next product group offered by IMB Messtechnik are optoelectronic level sensors, which use a prism made with silica glass, 316Ti and 316L steel – characterized by high resistance to aggressive media. IMB optoelectronic level sensors are used in many fields of industry: cooling, chemicals, pharmaceutics, in applications where exposed for high temperatures, and water treatment.
