About Proportion-Air

Proportion-Air is an American company specializing in the production of electronic air pressure regulators and valves for air flow control. The company was founded in 1985 in the town of McCordsville, Indiana, and from the beginning focused on the creation of the broadest range of products so that every customer could adjust the exact solution for every application. Proportion-Air products can be found in areas such as oil and gas exploration, tire production, aviation, pharmaceuticals, railways, molding, welding, textile and food industry, or even in space applications.

Proportion-Air offer is divided into 3 product groups. The first is Air Flow Electronic Pressure Valves and Regulators and contains, among others, products for very low pressure applications (DQB1, Equilibar Precision, QB2), for very high pressures (QB3H, QBS, GP, GX), high resolution pressure control valves (QL3, QPV1, QPV2, APV, MPV1, MPV2 OEMs), high flow control valves (QB4, QB3, QB2) hazardous location control valves (ISF1, ISQB1) and low cost control valves (QB1, MM1, MM2). In the group of Electronic Flow Controls Proportion-Air offers two types of FCV devices FCV, the first of them is the mass flow control valve for a closed loop and the second for open loop with the replacable seat.

Another group is Safety Regulators for Tools and Machines. These products are designed to protect employees and applications by eliminating potential damage associated with compressed air. Among the products in this category there are offered, among others, FluidReg® regulator (used in vending machines, laboratory equipment and irrigation systems), the HoseGuard® regulator (compressed air installations in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries), SaveAir® (pipelines, cables for automation), ToolReg® (pneumatic tools), CartReg® (pneumatic pistol tools, pick&place tools in automated assembly systems) and the EcoReg® regulator for the food and beverage production.

The last product group includes accessories and custom products tailored to specific customer requirements. These include devices such as pilot operated regulators (Series PSR, RM, RV, or HP), a complete line of electronic air flow control valves below 1 SCFM, FQB3 for air flow rate control between 1 and 30 SCFM, and F-series Air Flow Transducer. The portfolio is complemented with the mentioned earlier accessory in the form of brackets, command signal generators, pressure transducers, meters and power supplies.
