In addition to typical components dedicated to industry, the Weidmuller Company, has also in its offer the “Application-Specific Solutions” division. These innovative technical solutions are exactly tailored to specific applications, such as  photovoltaics (PV) , test interfaces for protective relays, FieldPower bus system and solutions dedicated to wind power plants. Among the a ccessories designed for the photovoltaic installations, we find suitable  PV-Stick connectors for them, which have a PUSH IN connection. Thanks to the connector design, they are easy and quick to install so that, you save time even in frosty temperatures. You do not need to assemble PV-Stick photovoltaic c onnectors with the use of the crimping tools and they are TÜV-approved. Besides PV-Stick connectors , WM4 plug-in connectors are also available. WM4 connectors are intended for solar photovoltaic systems. The difference between PV-S tick connectors and WM4 is the crimped connection. Their current-carrying capacity is 30 Amperes and each connection has one pin for 4mm2 and 6mm2 wires. They are sold as object-oriented plug-in connectors and photovoltaic plug-in connectors. In the offer we find also interchangeable male and female contacts.

In addition to the connectors portfolio, Weidmuller has developed Transclinic xi+ system. This system allows you to monitor the power output of  solar photovoltaic installations. It permits detailed string monitoring, which allows easy and rapid diagnosis and early detection of potential problems. Complete monitoring system consists of a Transclinic 8i+ or  Transclinic 16i+ devices and software. Weidmuller PV -Plant software allows for data collection, processing and monitoring of photovoltaic installations. Among the accessories dedicated for photovoltaics , we find also PV junction boxes, generator junction boxes and other hardware needed for installation, like wire cutting and stripping tools.

Weidmuller also offers special power bus systems- FieldPower . FieldPower is an innovative, modular system, through which it is possible to T-branch on the wire, without cutting cables. The system consists of a power bus distributor, enclosure, contact elements, and components such as LED lighting modules and cables. Power bus distributor is an essential element of the system. They are available in IP30 or IP65 protection class. Power bus offer includes also IP65 version with fused outgoing circuit and IP65 version with maintenance switch. A connection box for MP-Bus Belimo is also available. In addition, as part of the FieldPower system you can find cables, accessories, and tools needed for component installation. FieldPower LED TL modules are used as emergency lighting with long service life and low energy consumption. Due to its robust construction, it can be used in harsh industrial conditions where you experience vibrations, shocks, or extensive temperature range. The translucent cover minimizes the dazzling effect thus ensuring good visibility. A wide range of available voltage and obtained approvals and certificates, allows usage of the FieldPower TL LED modules all over the world.

In the Weidmuller offer you can also find special solutions for test interfaces on a protective relay from WIPRO and POCON series. WIPRO is a test interface for relay protection and automation equipment. POCON interfaces are intended to be a compact interface system for test-disconnect terminals.

S pecial solutions also offer features also a large selection of equipment required for applications like wind power plants . MONO LED, DUO, LED lighting, and FieldPower LED lamps for tower installations are available as well. Besides, you will also find dedicated distribution outlets and, harnesses. The offer also has the voltage transformers and control units specially designed for wind power plants.
