HDC Connectors is a connector product line, for applications requiring simplicity of installation and high safety connections in installations and machines. RockStar ® heavy-duty connectors are the connectors where the housing is made of die-cast aluminum, so that they will have excellent resistance to mechanical damages. An important feature of  RockStar connectors is high protection against dust and moisture, protecting the same connection. Connector inserts are made from durable thermoplastic material. Construction of HDC Connectors allows a lot of flexibility in housing and insert selection. It is also possible to configure and order custom assemblies, composed of two housings, two inserts, and cable gland – RockStar Kit. RockStar series is available in 11 standard sizes.

Apart from the basic multi-pin connectors, Weidmuller’s offer also includes the RockStar HighPower end-wall connector. There are three and four pin versions, which thanks to its construction and compliance with resistance standards, work perfectly when connecting cables between the wagons.

Another type of  HDC connector from Weidmuller are new Heat Trace Connectors. The Heat Trace Connector product line is a connector series dedicated for heating cable connections on pipelines. Their design ensures connection reliability in harsh weather conditions (e.g. arctic environments).
